As Sony have not finished the Profile required to allow PiP, does anyone know if all HD DVD Discs have this option. Have just been looking at a friend's copy of 300 on HD, and the PiP option is terrific.

If the disc has PiP on it, every HD DVD player should be able to play it.

I don't think all HD-DVDs have 'Picture-in-picture'. It's just a special feature. As far as I'm aware only one of my HD-DVDs has this option and that is 300.

I realise that it would be too much to expect it to be in every HD release, but was hoping this facility could be found on most newer films made - Transformers - King Kong - Troy etc.

I forgot about Transformers having PIP I've got that, and Children of Men which has U-control. I thought U-Control was more than just PIP I think it displays various information, but like I say I'm no expert |

American releases I think. The UK ones shouldn't be any different providing they did come out here.
