Juddery HD trailers

I regularly download highdef trailers from Apple and Yahoo to play on my PS3, and occasionally come across one (usually on Yahoo) that seems to have a funny frame rate. I initially thought this was a rare mistake at the encoding stage of the trailer that had been overlooked. But recently there seem to be more and more of them. For example '88 Minutes' on Yahoo HD trailers doesn't play back smoothly on my mac or PS3, and if you play it back frame by frame it seems to have a pattern of movement that goes like this;

4 moving, 1 paused, 1 moving, 1 paused, 1 moving, 1 paused, 4 moving etc...

Does anybody else find this? Is the encoding of these trailers really that sloppy or have I got a problem with my system?

Re: Juddery HD trailers

i get it too, mostly on the yahoo ones im using media player classic on the pc
it used to be the occasional one that did it now it seems every other one does it i read about it on a trailer forum too (cant find where i read it) its not a hardware fault its an incompatability with the decoders iirc and they were still trying to find a solution
