Terminator 3 HD DVD - UK release?

Guys,

MODS PLEASE CHANGE TITLE TO READ - TERMINATOR 3 HD DVD - UK RELEASE? (THANK YOU)

I've been given a MT e-coupon to use within the week, and having already got Terminator 1 (Ultimate DVD) and Terminator 2 (HD DVD UK release - also got on order the German uber version too), I was wondering whether it is worth buying the US HD DVD release of Terminator 3? (cost around £12.00 delivered).

Is there a likely release date for the UK T3 HD DVD version?

Is there going to be a UK HD DVD release at all? (I've only got a R2 player - so will I miss out on any good SD extras on the USA R1 HD DVD?)

Is there any special DVD releases of T3 out there (has to be R2) to keep me ticking over if I choose to wait?

Sorry for the questions, but I know someone out there is an expert of it.

If it was going to be released I would have thought it would be available by now, chances are it may never appear in the UK on HD-DVD seeing as Warner have now gone Blu-Ray.

Why would you miss out on SD extras? HD-DVDs are region free and the SD material contained on them is part of the HD-DVD, its not a seperate DVD area lol

This is a 2 Disc DVD release available but I am sure all the extras are also on the US HD-DVD release so just buy that.

Buy the US version. HD DVD has no region coding and any extras will not be region coded even if they were on a seperate DVD. I don't think T3 has a seperate disk anyway.

I've had two 50p coupons over the last week as well, but I must say I've never used the 50p ones, when they used to send coupons for a quid off I always went straight to the website and ordered a disc,
I guess 50p off just dosen't excite me enough.

Its seems that these coupons are sent out periodically in response to previous purchases.

I've recently bought Underworld HD DVD (German import) from them - so I guess that's what's triggered these coupons.

Looked at buying T3 from Tower.com in USA but when I checked out the exchange rate it worked out about a few pence cheaper from MT using one of the 50p vouchers.

Must say that these 50p coupons ain't that of an incentive - especially when only one coupon can be used per purchase, and MT aren't prepared to merge 2 x 50p ones into a single £1 one.
