Con Air and The Rock Blu-ray

Hi,
I'm thinking of getting these as I've seen good reviews of the PQ
on U.S. forums but won't import as not multi region. So my question
is what do you think of the PQ if you have the uk version? Should the
transfer quality be any different? I have them on dvd and don't want
to waste my money if the PQ isn't significantly better. Having said that
at least Con Air would be anamorphic.

Thanks

Re: Con Air and The Rock Blu-ray

Got the UK version of The Rock, picture was immense, one of the best I have seen on the format to be honest, case of rose tinted glasses though for the quality of the movie itself from me, watching it now its like a comedy to me.

Re: Con Air and The Rock Blu-ray

"THE ROCK" and "CON AIR" US blu-rays... Any difference?
Anybody compared these new U.S. blu-ray releases of "THE ROCK", "CON AIR" and "CRIMSON TIDE" with the already available ones from the UK and Australia ?

Is there any difference in the films cut, the PQ, audio and the extras ?

Also, is the audio commentary that was missing from the U.K. release ON the U.S. release ? Thanks!

Thanks!
