It is listed under region free blu ray so it should play on your PS3. Only other T2 I've seen is HD DVD. I bought House of Flying daggers (region A NTSC) from Movietyme under their region free list and it plays fine on my UK BluRay player. Hope that helps.

The US Blu-ray is fairly shoddy - if you don't have access to the European HD DVD variants I would await the new US re-release (whenever that may be).

I have both Halloween and Terminator 2 on US Blu-ray Disc, and both play fine on my UK PS3.
The PQ/SQ on Halloween is astonishing considering the source. Terminator 2 looks good, though isn't quite as good as the French HD DVD.
The first Terminator on US BD (also region free) is almost as impressive as Halloween.
BTW, there's a new HD DVD of Terminator 2 coming soon in Germany. It will appatently be re-mastered. It's possible that Lionsgate will use the same, new master for a US BD re-issue.

Guess it's a bit late to say its £9.46 at Axelmusic?
Movietyme won't ship til the new year when they reopen. Maybe you can cancel it before and get from Axel if you want to save a few quid?

T2 on BD isn't the best but it's still a lot better than any of the DVD's imo.
Keep in mind it's only the theatrical cut.
