According to this artcile at ZonaDVD (A Spanish site dedicated to SD-DVD/HD-DVD & Blu-Ray), our friends in Spain will be the first to get the LOTR Trilogy on Blu-Ray in March:

Hmm. I'd be a bit skeptical of this. Today is the día de los inocentes in Spain, which is a bit like April Fool's Day. When was the news item posted?
