Quick post. Love this film and thought the SD version was fab. Anyone have the UK BD version? Just wanted to know how good the PQ is. I'm into that sort of thing.

One word, excellent. One of the best I own. The picture fills the screen aswell so it looks even better! If you like the film then this is a no brainer! The PCM sound is excellent too!

You also have to love 1.85:1!!! I hate those black borders!!! May be I won't mind so much when I have the projector next year.

I noticed quite a bit of grain on dark scenes though.
Still miles better than my Superbit version.

Very good image for an old film, better than I expected. Better than DVD.
However, nowhere near as good as the best BD discs out, which are more recent films.
