UK releases before the US

so whats going on here? Why are we getting Die Hard before the US? And Pirates 3 and Blade Runner, both about two weeks before the US?

Is it worth me cancelling my movietyme preorders for pirates (rubbish film but might as well complete the set) and Blade Runner? Being as Blade Runner isn't out until the 18th December I won't realistically see it until into the new year, whereas its out at the beginning of December in the UK. its Warner so should be region free, right? (I have a region A player)

Re: UK releases before the US

Pirates is day-and-date, so chances are it'll be region coded.

The UK edition of Blade Runner is missing 3 discs, so you definately want to get the US disc for that.
