The Holiday HD-DVD

just watching this as I loved the film at the cinema and it has got to be the worst HD-DVD I have seen, its no better than the DVD version I have seen, definitely not worth getting in HD, its poor quality.

Luckily I just watched The Wild which was amazing quality and The Guardian which was pretty good too.

Re: The Holiday HD-DVD

My girlfriend got this along with La Haine when she got me my HD DVD drive, and I have to say as one of the first HD DVD's I watched, I thought it looked noticeably better than any SD DVD i've watched previously.

Each to their own

Re: The Holiday HD-DVD

I dont think it looked too bad to be honest - but then again its really not the kind of film that would benenfit from HD anyway

I agree though - The Wild looks fantastic (on BR anyway)
