'Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior' uncut on HD-DVD?

Does anyone know if The Road Warrior is uncut on HD-DVD?

I know the previous DVD releases are, but the old VHS I used to own wasn't cut at all!

Re: 'Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior' uncut on HD-DVD?

Mad Max 2 - The Road Warrior is certainly uncut on BD.

Cuts that were originally made were to the shot of Wez removing the crossbow bolt from his arm, and later on a gruesome close-up of the razor-edged boomerang embedded deep in the head of Wez's "chum".

It is worth noting that a lot of the original pan-and-scan versions also did away with a biker being shotgunned away from the cab of the truck due to being lost from the frame.

I reviewed the BD version on AVplay some time ago. Awesome movie, great transfer.

Cheers
