Thanks: Gave 1,623, Got 1,155 | How can I get imports more quickly???
I usually order my HD DVDs and BDs from Amazon UK Marketplace (I usually use Caiman), or Amazon USA.
The trouble is, I then have to wait for at least a week for the imports to arrive.
I could use faster shipping, but that's flippin' expensive.
Anyone any idea/links for a site where I could (for example) order 'Transformers' from the US and have it delivered within a couple of days of release?
Cheers.

Is that Movietime.com or .co.uk?
Any others?

Right.
And I can order from that .com US site and still get the discs in Huddy in a couple of days?
What's PnP like?
Prices in general (v Amazon, for example)?
Cheers.
Having a look, it appears to bed a US organisation, specifically set up to supply discs to the UK. Have I got that right?

The new releases are generally shipped from the States, so take between 5 and 10 days to get here, BUT Movietyme usually ship before the street date (unlike Amazon) so even allowing for the time in the postal system you get them generally before the street date in the States.
The price quoted on the Movietyme (MT) site included postage, there is a chance you might get stung for import duty / VAT, but in the year or so I have used them have been lucky so far.
They have offices in the UK too, that you use for returns etc.

Movietyme, Axel, DVDWorldUSA all ship really early. Recieved my Anchor Bay Blu-rays from Axel this morning, not released until 2nd Oct!
The quickest place I have come across is DVDsLimited, however there is a premium to pay for that with discs about £3 dearer than those above.

DVDworldusa has premium shipping that is 2-3 buisness days and costs 1.95 (I think) per disc. If you order 4 in stock discs at once you get that shipping free.

£1.95 or $1.95?
Can't check myself, as I can't access that site from work.

£'s unfortunatly and it's £3.50 for a box set.
I try to do the order 4 in stock movies at a time whenever possible (though no good for your transformers situation) and I find most of the time they only arrive a day or 2 later than ordering from somewhere like amazon.co.uk or play.com.
Only 1 of my orders from them took a while and that was heros that took over a week. Not sure what went wrong there.

I mean surely, you'll have to pay duty if it's 4 films, and that'll be more than the PnP.
Or have I missed something?

dvdworldusa will add a credit to your account if you ever end up paying duty. (I think thats to your account though not your credit card so you will need to spend the returned duty money on another product from them)
I've had about 40 I think titles from them including a couple of box sets and have never paid duty.
I won't go any further as I don't want to say anything that might increase anyones chance of getting in trouble.
