Not one of the normal sites for news but just noticed at Movietymes Blogspot that "possible production issues" may have caused a delay in the release of F4/Silver Surfer Blu-ray. http://movietyme.blogspot.com/2007/0...er-surfer.html
While I am sure many (if not most) will say no loss, I like the F4 films and was looking foward to this. It had a street date of 2nd Oct and I would have expected this to be processing/shipping from alot of the import sites already but no news.
Could this be similar to the Master & Commander delay??

3rd party BD50 disc replication was supposed to go online this summer but hasn't yet. I wonder if this is the problem.

Fox have said there is no truth to the rumors and that the disc will be released next Tuesday as planned. So thats good news.  | |

Apparently the RRP for the UK release next month is £39.99!
That must be a mistake! Is it a Laserdisc?

My Sendit.com order for this is now showing "Ready for Dispatch". I wouldn't be surprised if they sent it today/tomorrow due to the imminent postal strike which will likely see delivery delayed until next week.
