Thanks: Gave 183, Got 191 | Your latest Blu-Ray/HD-DVD acquisitions?!
Thought it might be nice to have one thread where we tell everyone about/show off our latest Hi-Def Movie purchases.
Today the postman brought me two of my all time favourites:
Mrs Morrison has never seen Deliverance so that's what we'll be watching this evening! |

I'm waiting for The Holiday, Notting Hill and The Wedding date to arrive for my wife and Knocked up and Hot Fuzz for us both. I'm hoping the postman will deliver them any minute.
I also have Shrek 3, Borne Ultimatium, The Harry potter 5, the Oceans trilogy, transformers, Top gun, Pan's Labrinth and I pronounce you chuck and Larry on preorder.
That will take me to about 60 HD-DVD's.
There is a big list of Blu-ray titles that I'd like but I only want one box that can play American Blu-ray, HD-DVD and region 2 DVD's and be at least a profile 1.1 player. I'm not sure that will ever exist.

Last HD-DVD that I bought was 300 and I currently have Transformers on pre-order. Last Blu-Ray was PoTC and I'm currently waiting for Identity to arrive.
I'm thinking about putting in a pre-order for the HD-DVD version of Blade Runner but I can't decide if I want the briefcase version or just the normal one.

My last purchase was a copy of 'Corpse Bride' on HD DVD on Tuesday from Game. £19.95 and only bought as I went in there to look at the Wii and PSP stuff.
