Debbie Loves Dallas Released for Blu-ray

Posted September 19, 2007 by ****

Blu-ray Movies Vivid Entertainment has announced that the alt-adult feature 'Debbie Loves Dallas' (not to be confused with 'Debbie Does Dallas') is in stores today. More significant to the story is the fact that Vivid is releasing this title on Blu-ray and DVD with no release planned for HD DVD. This is a change in Vivid's policy which was originally format neutral.

Re: Debbie Loves Dallas - Blu-ray and DVD

Available at MovieTyme

MOD COMMENT: Whilst I don't mind discussion of this sort of material, please remember this is a family forum and those sort of links are not welcome. It can be easily found I know, but please do not post direct links. The Adult DVD forum would be more suited to those kind of links.

Thanks

Not available of HD-DVD.

HD porn is very poor apparently, you would be better off sticking to DVD.

Mainstream films with 'erotic content' such as Basic Instinct looks very good in high def so I don't see why high values adult productions can't do the same. Of course the vast majority of the porn industry isn't built around high values but budget sets, cheaper actors and a straight to video culture. But there are some 'big budget' examples, e.g. Digital Playground's Pirates, which will benefit from HD DVD/BluRay releases.

Re: Debbie Loves Dallas - Blu-ray and DVD

It's just stupidly expensive, most non porn HD-DVD/Blu-ray titles at amazon are $20-28 Buy a Blu-ray title from Vivid and it will cost you $50-70.

I just don't see that you are getting any value for money at all, get an internet subscription or something.

I guess you don't buy expensive underwear either... What is so poor about porn on BR peter?

HD porn will be great no matter what flavour. Having seen many HD films, and some with a bit of naked flesh. I can honestly say, given the choice between HD porn and SD porn, I'd choose HD all the time especially if watching on the PJ

As to whether it's worth it or not... well thats the question only you can answer... Probably not, after you've watched it!

I've seen 'Island Fever 3' and 'Camp Cuddly Pines'. 'Island Fever 3' is slow and arty and filmed on tropical islands. PQ is superb. Just too slow and arty really. (Also I'm a little dubious when I see it's number 3. If you haven't seen the first two what if you can't follow the plot?)

Camp Cuddly Pines is like the traditional stuff. Dodgy acting, daft storyline etc. PQ still fine though.

If you have the equipment why not use it?

(As the actress said to the Bishop. )

Sorry about that Greg - I've been posting long enough to make a faux pas of that calibre! *smacks own wrist*
