The Kingdom is directed by Mann? I thought it was by Peter Berg (did the film Very Bad Things).

Me too, Jim.

Thank heaven's for that!

I sat down with Me Julie last night and...erm...shall we say 'negotiated' our high def purchases between now and Christmas.

At least I don't have another 7 titles to add to the list when i get home tonight - I'd have been in the dog house.

Ditto - the best TV series on at present

Hopefully they won't be too sluggish about getting the rest out on HD DVD. I'm hoping we'll see Razor before too long - and if they can get the HD DVD set of Season 4 day and date with next years DVD release I would be delighted.

I've already seen Mr Beans Holiday out on HD DVD (It's in HMV in Birmingham and I've seen it in ASDA.). We must have had it early or this list is out of date.

Re: Universal Q4 HD-DVD's

Mr Bean was released early in the UK, it's nice to get the odd film ahead of the US for once.

You're right! Mann is Producing and wrote the intial story it seems, his name was in huge letters on the poster at the cinema so presumed he was directing.

Re: Universal Q4 HD-DVD's

Only Carlito's Way and The Bourne Ultimatum really float my boat out of all that lot.

Re: Universal Q4 HD-DVD's

as much as i totally back HD-DVD and all that i can't shake the feeling of disappointment for films coming out. Out of all those films the only one i would consider purchasing is Bourne because am i really going to get anymore more out of buying Weird Science on HD-DVD than DVD?

Re: Universal Q4 HD-DVD's

Another one for Battlestar Galactica here; it's the HD highlight of the year for me

Also going to pickup the Bourne Trilogy boxset (not listed by OP), Pride & Prejudice, The Kingdom and Inside Man.

I guess Atonement and Golden Age won't arrive until next year?

Don't forget that's only the releases from one studio... and probably not complete either. I also hope we get more from all the studios as HD-DVD do tend to release details just before the disc rather than large lists months in advance.. I think there are about 150 titles due to be released on HD-DVD Q4 2007, according to the HD-DVD group.. so there might be some more that take your fancy..
