Re: Children of Men Blu-ray Release

It is a cracking film..... IMO Clive Owen being one of the better actors we have .....

Not all good though had a failed recording on this the other night was really looking forward to seeing it on Sky HD, think I'll look out for this when its released.

Re: Children of Men Blu-ray Release

Children of men for me is such a strange film. Everyone on the net and in reviews loves it. Everyone I meet in person feels the same as me, it's okay, but definitely nothing special. I really have that feeling like I've missed something

Re: Children of Men Blu-ray Release

wow! love this film. How is it coming out? I thought it was a Universal movie, and they usually have global distribution?

whatever, good news as long as it plays on a region A machine and has English lossless audio.

Re: Children of Men Blu-ray Release

There are some cracking extras on the HD DVD. One of them is the electronic ads you see in the film, which you can bring up in a pop-up window.

One of the best uses of an extra on a disc I've ever seen.

It seems that Sony had the theatrical distribution for parts of Scandinavia, and perhaps they got the dvd/bd distributions for it as well.

It's a Danish release, they also have some other's like Hannibal Rising.

It's the same company who distributes the PS3 to Denmark/Scandinavia.

Re: Children of Men Blu-ray Release

so this is out now apparantly. I've seen a couple of screenshots in another forum

can anyone recommend somewhere that will import this? Also whether this will play on a region A player and has English language with no forced subs
