God and Generals - BD or HD-DVD?

Hi all

Does anyone know of the specs for the BD and HD-DVD versions of this? (apparently movietyme are despatching pretty much now). Can't seem to find details anywhere and wondering which version to get?

I've never actually seen this movie, anyone got any opinions on it?

Cheers
Matt

Considering it is due next week it is surprising that we have no specs on it - makes me think it may have actually been delayed. Personally I have the HD DVD on order but, without hard data, that is something of blind faith on my part.

No idea mate - I order most of my new movies based upon the short programme summary and cover art these days

I know, I know - it's really gash and I should read reviews etc before buying - but it's just easier and seems to have served me quite well over the last few years.

Re: God and Generals - BD or HD-DVD?

I've got the SD DVD of this, it's a good picture quality for SD and the hi-def release should look good as well. I'd say you need to be an American Civil War buff to actually enjoy the movie, it's very long and it plays like a dramatised history lesson of the period, so it's difficult to recommend it to everyone.
