Re: clerks 2 hd-dvd playback problem

No playback problems with this disk on my AX1, with firmware version 2.0 installed. No other problems with other Weinstein disks either (Wolf Creek and Tha Matador). There have been mentions in other threads here about playback problems of these disks - are you running the latest firmware on your kit?

Mark

Hi,

Seems to be a problem with the latest firmware (v.2), and several Weinstein disks.
From reports on the HD DVD Players forum, the v2.1 firmware recently released in the States should fix this.

So depends whether you have a UK player or not - if you do, hopefully just a case of waiting for the v2.1 firmware to be available here.

Ian.

Hi Blu-Raydisc, Glad your "Matador" disc works o.k.

Yes, this is an issue with version 2.0 firmware on the Tosh. All Weinstein discs played fine before the firmware was updated. Toshiba are issueing a fix I believe. As mentioned above, hopefully firmware 2.1 will enable your "Clerks II" and all other Weisntein discs to play properly again. Hopefully!
