Are UK Blu-Ray discs affected by PAL 4% speed-up ?

Are UK Blu-Ray discs affected by PAL 4% speed-up ?

For instance, if I was to get the UK Blu-Ray disc of "CASINO ROYALE" or "IDENTITY" would it be the same "pitch" of audio as the US blu-ray version ?

Thanks

No. It runs at 24fps or close to it.

Yes, the audio pitch is the same as the US!

PAL and NTSC are SD terms, they have no relevance in the HD age

I don't know anything about this machine but check whether it is fully 24fps compatible. The new Pioneer BDP-LX7y is unlike your Tosh. If Your monitor is also 24fps compatible it will avoid the video judder problems that come with 3/2 pulldown.

Cheers
