Thanks: Gave 23, Got 50 | Final Fantasy-The Spirits:region free on Blu-Ray?
Hi all! I was just wondering if anyone knew anything of this forthcoming release? It's not advertised on Movietyme....? Can anybody shed some light as to whether this US release would be region free perhaps?
Many thanks for any advice.

I see it is listed on the movietyme site now: http://www.movietyme.com/catalog/pro...ducts_id=36946
although its not yet in the "plays back in a uk ps3" section, but if its a new release I assume it'll have to be shipped to movietyme's uk office in order to be tested. So hopefully we'll know either way in a couple of days. I'm a big fan of the film myself.

Eh.
I was asking who the distributor was, not whether it was a BR release.
No matter though, just had a quick jog downstairs to check the DVD edition.
Columbia (Sony) so won't be on HD-DVD for a year or so yet.

No dobt there will be some dark corner of the world where the rights are with someone else and it will get a HD DVD release

I was thinking more along the lines of when Sony realise that BR won't conquer all and accept that they'll have to go neutral since HD-DVD is here to stay
NB: The above comment is all imho and was not in any way meant as bait for BR fanboys to wade into the conversation
