Howsabout building yourself something like this to house them? I'd love to, but my carpentry skills are non-existence *sigh* it's the modern age for you isn't it? Us modern men have no practical skills anymore.

My modest collection (28 movies including the Matrix Collection-out of shot), note plenty of childrens films in there!

Yeah, I figured I would be organised this time round. My DVDs were everywhere until I ran out of space and had to store all the discs in a DJ case which I'll probably end up doing with the HD DVDs as well.

I watched Breach yesterday and it's a very good film; quite slow paced but well acted and with a decent plot. 8/10 from me though the HD DVD PQ isn't exactly reference material as it's quite soft and subdued.

The PQ on Meaning of Life is more or less what I expected. It's generally clean and quite sharp in places but, as you would guess, isn't going to cause Kong any sleepless nights in the overall impressiveness stakes.

Re: Get your [insert next gen format of choice] out for the lads

hi everyone!

Here´s my HD collection so far:

On the way:

Enter the Dragon ( HD-DVD )
V for Vendetta ( HD-DVD )
Blood Diamond ( HD-DVD )
The Island ( HD-DVD )
Smokin´ Aces ( HD-DVD )

I also have The Perfume on BD ( it was a present from the FILMAX rep. )

BTW some of the titles have maybe unknown titles for you because here in Spain they suck at translating titles. i.e. The Departed = Infiltrated
I´m about to have another crazy spree at dvdpacific.com

Hope you like it!

I bought Underworld Evolution on Spanish HD-DVD recently and they have printed the spine the wrong way round

I laugh, but it actually really annoys me!

It´s Filmax so what do you expect from them???

They have the publishing rights for Brotherhood of the Wolf and Million Dollar Baby and they´re nowhere to be seen or announced.

I remember that BOTW had a lot of languages and really good picture and sound so I don´t know why they´re waiting so much.

Re: Get your [insert next gen format of choice] out for the lads

Had to take some pics for insurance so thought I would resurrect this thread, awful pics but I think they just needed an idea that I did have alot.

I really need to get a proper shelf for these as its getting a little cramped around the TV stand

A couple out on loan - Blood Diamond, Flags, Clerks, COM and a few more en route - 300, Shooter, Shaun, Premonition, Last Samurai, Good Shepherd & Identity
