Shops in New York to buy some Blu Rays

Ok i am going back to New York in a couple of weeks and was wondering is it worth buying some Blu Rays over there are they any chaeper, obviously checking on the net before to make sure they work on my PS3.

Besides the huge Virgin Megastore in Times Square and Union Square, are there any good shops that sell cheap UK compatible Blu Rays?

Re: Shops in New York to buy some Blu Rays

There's a small DVD shop near the public library. As you face the front entrance of the old building (from Ghostbusters/Spiderman) take the street to the left and the shop is on the left.

This was about the cheapest shop i found back in April. Most Blurays were $20-25 plus tax when i was there.

Re: Shops in New York to buy some Blu Rays

Yes the shop tripodjw has said is pretty good, got the Mission Impossible box set cheaper there than anywhere else but for single discs they were quite a bit more expensive than other shops I found.

There is a shop near Radio City, face radio city and walk left one block and they have a decent selection of Blu Rays but sorry I cant remember the name.

Circuit City on Union Square was still the best I found though, huge selection and quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else

Loads of places were selling then when we were there over Christmas so even more must be now.
