Thanks: Gave 8, Got 17 | The Rock (BR) - Still coming out in June?
"The Rock" is one of my favourite action films, and since the Criterion DVD had such an awesome transfer I have high hopes for the HD release.
So does anyone know if the June 5th release will still be met?
EDIT: Looks like it's officially TBA, like "Con Air"

On hmv.co.uk they are being listed to be released on July 02 2007.

If it is July then i am going to have to get a PS3; i really like the Rock, it is one of my guilty pleasures and the Criterion release has a great PQ. If this improves on that then it would be awesome imo.

Face/Off comes out soonish as well in America, so some great action films to get. I'm hoping the Die Hards come out before the year is over too, a 4 film boxset would be great

I'll definitely pick all 3 of these up. Hopefully when these are released Stateside, they will be multi-region like other recent Buena Vista releases.

I love The Rock, ConAir and Face/Off and really hoping for top notch conversions of these films (CrimsonTide was never one of my favs just thought it was a bad copy of Hunt For Red October myself)

They're all available from France now, from what ive managed to find out they all have pcm soundtracks. The Rock also has all the features from the 2 disc R2 release 
what part is cut kevny ? head butt in there somewhere ?  | |

DVD World USA have got some of these titles listed as being released on the 2nd of September in the US.
Let's hope the UK is still early July!  | |
