Brilliant. After The Searchers more legendary Wayne movies. Can't wait to see some other westerns appearing too, even The Magnificent Seven! Can you imagine that in HD? I want to see all the detail of McQueen's face!

I'd read about the new 2 disc SE remaster of Rio Bravo but there was no word about a HD-DVD release but after the gorgeous The Searchers I'm up for any more classic westerns on the format

Re: Rio Bravo and The Cowboys HD DVD releases (for all John Wayne fans)

Just watched The Searchers again last night and seeing it in HD breathes a whole new life into the film again Assuming that WB does a similar job with the transfers of Rio Bravo and Cowboys, I can't wait for these two JW movies to be released.
