Has anyone bought a Blu Ray from ChoicesUK?

Mine has been in progress for about 3 days. How long do they take to arrive usually?

It depends on their stock. I've been waiting ages for kingdom of heaven.

If they are in stock they usually take about a week.

Yep, even when they are in stock it seems to take an age.

I think the problem here isn't the retailer but the supplier. Another e-tailer told me they're having problems obtaining stock.

Frustrating really. I'm waiting for Casino Royale and Hellboy to arrive.

I've been having similar supply problems with sendit.com. They're fantastic for Standard DVD, but for HD-DVD and Blu-Ray there really does seem to be a stock and time-to-replenish issue.

Re: Has anyone bought a Blu Ray from ChoicesUK?

Well I phoned Choices and told them my order has been "in progress" for a few days and they told me they are waiting for stock from Jersey. I come back from a pub lunch (good beer garden weather) and its now down as dispatched. cool. I might get it on sat.

Same here for Ice Age 2. Called yesterday because it has been in progress for days and they said it comes from Guernsey. What difference does this make to how long it takes to get out the door?

Re: Has anyone bought a Blu Ray from ChoicesUK?

Ordered Blackhawk Down and The Hostel on 28th March...Hostel shipped on the 4th April and Blackhawk Down shipped yesterday (April 20th). Restocking does seem to be a problem with them. I've got Gang's Of New York on pre-order and hopefully that will ship promptly on release date...be interesting to see...........

Re: Has anyone bought a Blu Ray from ChoicesUK?

I've noticed quite a few blu-rays have gone up at Choices. Most of the Fox ones seem to have lept from £17.99 to £22.99 (Ice Age 2, Kingdom Of Heaven etc).

Ice Age 2 has gone up at sendit.com too. Looks to me like the UK suppliers are just getting greedy now that all those PS3s are out there and know that with their region locked format we have no choice
