Yep - delayed again mate.

It's now on movietyme as 30th May or something, check it out.

Absolute bummer, although plenty of other titles between now and then...

Re: t2 hd dvd

They're being delayed due to the new AACS revision.

You know that AACS was broken and HD-DVD's and Blu-ray rips have appeared on torrent sites?

Well Fox, Studio Canal and others have delayed the release of many of their titles so that they can author the disks with new Keys that will revoke the software players that allowed the first batch of titles to get ripped

The AACS wasn't compromised (broken). It was implemented insecurely in one of the software HD DVD players, and this vulnerability was exploited resulting in several title keys being captured in cleartext and used to decrypt the disc movie content of those titles.

The difference compared to if AACS were actually compromised is that, in this case, the AACS itself remains perfectly usable.

Didn't hear any more about the insecure player's vendor and what happened to them (probably got their knuckles wrapped, or worse) but newly authored discs will no longer play on that software player version. And in order to achieve that with releases that were already in the works, companies like Fox and Studio Canal delayed these titles in order to implement the new AACS revisions.
