UK release for Crank on BluRay..?

Anyone know when/if this is coming out in the UK?

Have a UK PS3 on order and this would have made a perfect purchase to go with it.

But there doesn't seem to be any sign of it...

Re: UK release for Crank on BluRay..?

Crank is distributed by Lionsgate in the US, who are supporting Blu-ray only. However, in the UK it is distributed by Universal, who are supporting HD-DVD only.

So, in short, don't expect to see it on UK Blu-ray in the foreseeable future.

No word on a UK HD-DVD version either, FWIW.

Re: UK release for Crank on BluRay..?

hmm looks like another reason to get the 360 HD-DVD addon.

Others being for Children of Men and Out of Sight.

That's of they release it on HD-DVD

Re: UK release for Crank on BluRay..?

For anyone who is interested, Crank is available as a HD download from the Xbox 360 US Marketplace, and is one of the better quality HD films I have viewed on there!

480 points = approx £4

As I said in March, Crank is distributed by Universal in the UK, who do not support Blu-ray. Sorry to disappoint you, but it is NOT doing to be released on Blu-ray in the UK anytime soon.

I think I'll just wait for Universal to cave in and declare support for Blu-Ray.
