That amazon link doesnt really mean anything, its just up like the Lord Of The Rings ones so you can be alerted "when they do arrive". You will notice SPR and LOTR are not on the pending dates list at hidefdigest.
Keeps your fingers crossed but dont hold your breath

Saving Private Ryan is likely to be on BOTH formats.

Hmm picture aside surely this would be worth a purchase on the sound alone?

The problem with SPR in HD on Sky is the print they have sourced to make the HD version. It's not in pristine condition...particularly in the first 5 minutes with the scene at the cemetry. The sound was of course, stonking. But then again, this has been a demo DVD for more than 5 years now...
Of that list at hidefdigest, I think the 2 I'm looking forward to most are The Maltese Falcon and Son Of Paleface... (That is until they get "postponed")

This movie , will have been seen at least twice by those getting it on HD-DVD , and so IMO the soundtrack may be more of a selling point based on 2 points......
1.Even though it will open a new dimension in viewing the movie , its not the same when you have seen it more than once.
2.The camera movement in the action scenes is filemd in such a way , its not going to be ideal for HD.
All IMO of course.
Will deffo be getting it anyway.
