Revealing moments

Hey guys

Just thought i'd make a thread for those OMG moments with HD. When watching HD films or listening to the new HD soundtracks what have you seen/heard that you have never seen before on old favourites?

I don't have HD just yet (next week ) but I remember seeing Matrix: Reloadad at the Imax in Waterloo and being able to see how bad Laurence Fishburnes acne scars are . I've seen him in loads of films but have never noticed that before!

Re: Revealing moments

Not an old re-heard one , but every 12 mins or so in the departed i was blown away by the HD-DVD soundtrack , on my setup it was just so realistic.
Pinpoint sounds and heavy gunfire.

Other was Reservoir Dogs in DTS-HD , even though it was core only , it was amzing on my MA setup.

I just can't wait for the HD sound. I think i'm looking forward to that more than the HD video tbh. Too bad i'm having to use the 360 for now. Oh well better start saving for the uber multi format player!
