Re: casino royale

Hi,

I'm sure i read somewhere that Casino Royale is region free on blu ray.

I'm not 100% though...

I hope so as i also heard that the R2/B was cut by the BBFC. Not sure if the R1/A is uncut though.

Be nice if someone could confirm...

The film wasnt cut by the BBFC, I think it was a case the BBFC offered the version of the film with the torture scene extended a 15 certification but the studio wanted 12A so they re edited the scene themselve to achieve the lower rating.

I believe this is the same for the States, so the versions should be the same.

Re: casino royale

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"]The US version is marked as region A and will not play on my panny, can't say whether the region B version is locked but I would assume so.
I purchased from dvdslimited.com (they have a shop in hertfordshire) for £21.99

Re: casino royale

Its a shame there website looks like it was made by my Mother!!

It is very very poor and is putting me off buying anything from them.... (sounds silly i know), but i don't know if i can trust a company that does not even put in a bit of efffort for there website, if they can't do that then what kind of service can they offer...

Also what is with the Region A HD-DVD ???
