Quite agree - a few 'must buys' on that list for me: in particular 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Dawn of the Dead' (2004) will be getting pre-orders soon But it's 'Battlestar Galactica' that is the pinnacle IMHO - this is my favourite TV show at present and should really excel in high def.

Children of men's a good one too. Those war torn city scenes will look fantastic in hd.

Some good movies coming then.

It would be nice to see the original living dead movies on HD though....

Of course Liar Liar is the must have movie for me...

hddvd.highdefdigest.com reports

In addition to the titles unveiled in the press release, Universal also
informed us that they will release at least some of their classic
Alfred Hitchcock catalog to HD DVD this year, with the
first title expected to be his 1960 masterpiece 'Psycho.'

Great news, and about time too! I was starting to get a bit worried but now I can see the grass is definitely greening up on this side of the fence

BSG and Scarface will be definite purchases for me, although not too sure how much of an improvement HD will make to Psycho - my SD version is pretty ropey by SD standards...

Alot of people seem to have adopted one format and are supporting it, surely when the dual format players are readily availble* who cares if its HD or Blu-ray movies, the films are the important factor.

*when are they due?

Haven't got BSG on DVD yet, so would definitely look forward to getting it in HD.

Quite a good list of titles here.

The first dual format player (LG) is already on sale. However it's quite expensive at present and isn't as good as the standalones. That will change as more companies go dual (BluRay supporters Samsung and Pioneer are likely to be next).

Reading the article over at HTF, it also appears that we will get Evan Almighty (sequel to Bruce Almighty) and The Bourne Ultimatum this year.
