Dr Who: The Millennium Trap

In the years between the end of the old series of Dr Who and the new Russell T. Davies version, fans of the series made their own episodes and films.
Probably the most accomplished of these was 1997's Dr Who: The Millennium Trap which sees The Doctor (played here by Nick Scovell) taking on his old foes - the Daleks. Filmed in B+W this is basically a homage to the shows from the 1960s.

Now director Rob Thrush has restored the film with new CGI and some editing. He is planning to release this restored version as a free DVD download from the 23rd of November.
Here is the trailer, together with the announcement of the restored release:

This same team made 4 acclaimed stage productions of various wiped BBC episodes too. Look forward to picking up this Dr Who curio later this month!
