So many R1 dvd's to sell and no shop will have them

I'm in a bit of a dilema really...I'm moving to Ireland next month and I need to reduce the weight of the stuff I'm bringing over so wanna sell my DVD's off. R2 no problem, I didnt realise no shops would accept R1.....So I would like to see if anyone on here would like to purchase them. I live in Sidcup, so anywhere local to either drop off or pick up, or can meet in Central London....Here is what I have

Re: So many R1 dvd's to sell and no shop will have them

There is a website called www.filmvault.co.uk who buy all second hand dvd's, blurays etc (inc R1) they collect from your home (at their cost) but to make it worth their while the valuation (theirs NOT yours) has to be in excess of about £90 I think. You can submit a list on their website what films you want to sell. TBH honest though, with R1 films unless they are rares, chances are they'll be worth less than £1 each to them

Selling your music CDs DVDs and games? Sell for cash the best prices paid but don't expect top price for them!

Re: So many R1 dvd's to sell and no shop will have them

Have to say we tried Film Vault 6 months ago to clear our DVD Collection to a more managable size, offered them around 600 titles mixed, r1/2/3, (all databased in excel, which took quite a few hours) only to be told they were not interested in them at all, their website is very misleading about what they will take. Ended up taking the R2 titles to CEX, expecting to get very little for them after the Film Vault issue, and got around £300 for approx 100 titles. Pleasant surprise. Still don't know what to do with the r1/3 titles.
