Thanks: Gave 27, Got 19 | Which BBC programmes do you own on DVD?
Which of these BBC TV programmes / programmes shown on the BBC do you own on DVD or have ever bought/owned on DVD?
This poll is about programmes made or part made/financed by the BBC.
* note this poll is about DVDs and NOT about Blu-ray titles
(this is the second try at posting this poll and I'm trying with less options than before). Please ignore all the options after Life on Mars everyone, I had more options to enter but I was getting very short of time and had to make sure that I entered all the options within the 2 minute time limit, so I just entered something quickly for those because if I had gone to 2 minutes there wouldn't have been any poll at all on this thread like what happened with my previous try.

I think you may have to re-think this one. This is a poll, hence you can only vote once & select one option.

Thanks: Gave 27, Got 19 | Re: Which BBC programmes do you own on DVD? You're right I meant to make it a multiple choice poll. I already failed to enter the options on a previous try at making this poll so that thread didn't have a poll at all, and as you can see I ran out of time entering all the valid options on this one, If I had entered them I'd have gone past the 2 minute limit . And it doesn't let you edit polls as far as I can tell (though I'm going to ask a moderator if it's possible).
But even though it's not a multiple choice poll, and if I can't edit it, if you own any of the above DVDs, please select one of the ones you own from the list.

This poll is about programmes made or part made/financed by the BBC.
* note this poll is about DVDs and NOT about Blu-ray titles | From the list just Doctor Who (New): Season 1 however, from memory, the BBC TV series I own on DVD are:
- All Creatures Great and Small
- All the King's Men
- Austwitz: The NAZIS and the Final Solution
- Blackadder
- Blakes 7
- By The Sword Divided
- Cambridge Spies
- Charles II: Power & Passion
- Coast
- Dad's Army
- Day of the Triffids
- D-Day 6.6.44
- Dirty War
- Doctor Who (Classic) - all those released to date except for a few very early Hartnell/Troughton stories
- Doctor Who (New)
- Duchess of Duke Street
- Dunkirk (Docu-Drama)
- Elizabeth R
- Gunpowder, Treason & Plot
- Henry VIII and his Six Wives
- Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy
- I, Claudius
- The Long Firm
- NAZIS: A Warning From History
- Neverwhere
- One Foot In The Grave
- The Onedin Line
- Red Dwarf
- Road to War
- Secret Army
- Survivors
- Tenko
- The Tripods
- War in the Atlantic
- War in the East
- War of the Century
- Virgin Queen
...probably a fair few others I have forgotten Some have been upgraded and brought on Blu-ray ( Pride & Prejudice) and so are not listed as per the OP's instructions. And there are loads of others that the BBC has some financial share in, e.g. Rome, Band of Brothers etc etc

Pooch

Only Only Fools & Horses 26 Disc set for me, love it.
I quite fancy Galapagos, Blue Planet and Dads Army, not much else though.

Bri | I think when I made this poll (which is still not multiple choice ), one of the reasons for it was so we could get an idea of how popular different BBC/BBC made/financed DVDs were and a you'd get a very rough idea of relatively how many Dvds need to be sold for a title for it to get a Blu-ray release. Though the fact that the poll isn't multiple choice isn't helping (I did ask for it to be changed ).

As an example the new Dr Who has all been shot on standard def video until this year's specials. So I have all the box set DVDs of all the new Who but I have the Blu-Ray of Planet Of The Dead. A lot of HD titles are being released on both formats at around the same time. I will nearly always buy the BD over the DVD.
Cheers
