Mann's THIEF Optimum re-issue

Has anyone picked up the recent release of Michael Mann's 1981 crime drama? I presume that now, unlike previous releases, the film is anamorphic. What's the image quality like? Is it the theatrical cut or Mann's re-cut?

If only there were a Blu Ray....

I haven't bought this, as I didn't think it was out yet (it came out on 29th June 09 in the UK). Thanks for reminding me about it.

As far as I can see, the film is in 16:9 Anamorphic now, and the version on the disc is 118m 04s long. It is not the alternate cut, which is only available on Region 1 at the moment, but the regular Theatrical version.
