A Christmas Carol 1948 version

Just spotted this. I watch this every year with a mince pie in hand and a tear in my eye. A must buy for me. Hope they have done a good job with the PQ. I have the DVD and its a bit ropey.

1951 version you mean

Hopefully it'll get the treatment it deserves.

Re: A Christmas Carol 1948 version

Did you notice it said 4/3 and 16/9? On top of that is it B&W or colour?

Re: A Christmas Carol 1948 version

It must be B&W surely? The few scenes I have seen in colour were horrible. They wouldn't just give us that

I'd hate that too but why wouldn't they? Some hate B&W so much they'd rather have a third rate "colour" version.
