According to Digital Spy, Peter Jackson is looking to make his new take on Operation Chatise in 3D.

Still no date or timeline associated with this movie AFAIK. It'll be interesting to see what they do with it - the original 617 Bomber crews were drawn from a multi-national background (including one American) pilot - so will a US centric view be taken?

Unless a production was made by the BBC, it seems in recent war films US produced films like to downplay British involvement in WWII. Normally the sole reference to Britian is a dig at Montgomery! Obviously not saying that will happen here but it does seem a growing trend.
