Application to help pick a movie to watch?

There seems to be loads of applications for all sorts of things these days especially on ipod touch/iphone/macs.

I constantly struggle to decide what movie to watch from a huge collection (I can stare at my shelves for hours and not decide what to watch haha)
It would be great if there was a program to type all my films into then be able to select a film by genre, actor etc look at the cover art or a random button to just randomly pick a film for me to watch!

Is there a good program for this on the mac - I have downloaded a few free 'half hearted' programs but it would be great to find one that did everything I wanted!

Cheers

Re: Application to help pick a movie to watch?

If you've got DVD Profiler, there's a function on there to help you decide what to watch. It randomly goes through your collection and you rate each selection it comes up with and it picks similar movies where you rate the previous picks higher until you narrow it down to something you want to watch.

Not sure how well it works in practice, because I've got too much unwatched stuff at the moment to be watching things again
