Walter's War is quite a good one off TV drama you may see on BBC4 every now and then.
There are also less recent productions such as
All Quiet On The Western Front (original and remake),
Gallipoli and
The Lighthorsemen. I'd also point you towards the Australian series
ANZACS, but I watched the DVDs recently and realised how rubbish it was.

I guess because the American involvement was less, the war wasn't as mobile and the good v evil regeme argument wasn't applicable.
