Unhappy Best way to write .avi files to a DVD to play in a DVD player

Hi, i have the first season of Star Trek the Original Series on my PC in .avi format and would like to write them to disk to watch on my DVD player. What would be the best program to use i would like it to be cheap or free leaves no watermark and have the ability to adjust the amount of footage store on one disk

Also, the average size of one episode is 350MB.
