Attaching SUB files to downloaded film

Good morning everyone.
I have just finished down loading "La vie en rose" which purported to have subtitles. It took a LONG time to download and when it was completed it seems that the subtitle file is separate. La.Vie.En.Rose.DivX_LT.sub with a size of 11290 KB. How do I get the one into the other?

Did you download this from a legal site?

Sorry, but what is "this"? The film (IsoHunt), or the converting software?

La Via en Rose is a film I take it? Did you download it from a torrent or a legal movie download site?

Yes, we do not allow discussion of illegally downloaded movies on these forums. I am going to have to close this thread. Thanks.
