Question What to Watch next?

Hi,

I am just about to finish watching Battlestar Galactica on DVD and I am going to need something else to watch pretty soon.

NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!

I have Tru Calling and Alias lined up and ready but I don't want to start watching them as of yet....just not in the mood...especially for 5 series of Alias!

I am planning on picking up series 2 of both Pushing Daises and 30 Rock soon, but thats only about a week worth of watching between the two as I tend to go through boxsets fairly fast.

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for some good shows to start on?

I have tried 24 and never liked it and Prison Break doesn't really interest me.

I have listed below a bunch of shows I already own to give you an idea of what I am into

Thanks
S.

I don't see Dexter in your list, that was pretty good IMO

Re: What to Watch Next?

I have been told to watch it before but it kind of went off my radar. I'll keep it in mind.

Re: What to Watch Next?

I'll second The Lost Room, great little mini-series and throw in True Blood. I downloaded the latter after recommendations on here, watched 3 episodes and I was hooked, so promptly ordered the BD, who says downloading is killing the industry

Re: What to Watch next?

Can't see Heroes on that list

I'd also recommend Dexter, love that show.

How about Supernatural? Stargate?

Edit: Carnivale is also a very good watch.

Re: What to Watch next?

I am just about to start volume 4 of heroes, got it all mt PVR.

Someone else last night told me to get watching dexter too.....must be a sign!

Carnivale has also interested me in the past, same kind of feel as twin peaks?

Re: What to Watch next?

Twin Peaks eh?

All of them? If so - get Fire Walk with me.

If youve watched both series of Twin Peaks and Fire Walk with me start on Lynch's other films...these for starters

Eraserhead
Blue Velvet
Lost Highway
Mulholland Drive
Inland Empire

That should keep you busy for a while (and confused heh)

Re: What to Watch next?

Yup Twin Peaks.

Awesome Show, done a full run of Season 1, 2 and FWWM over a week last summer with lots of Coffee and Cherry Pie

I am a fan of Mr. Lynch. Still to see Inland Empire tho, just not had a chance to pick it up. I am all about the TV shows atm.
