Re: Highlander on DVD PQ any good

mm not bad the Immortal Edition was better over the standard r1 dvd (owned both and still do).. even said that the music score is miles better i mean who wants to live forever class mate

but there is this comeing, Play.com (UK) : Highlander: Immortal Edition - Limited Edition Steelbook (Blu-ray) : Blu-ray - Free Delivery

This is the one i own at the moment worth it just for the extra disc , http://www.play.com/DVD/Region_1/4-/...n/Product.html

i binned my Vhs version when i got above..

Re: Highlander on DVD PQ any good

I used to have the PAL DVD and now have the R1 Immortal Edition and I don't think either are great for PQ or sound. They will be better than VHS though so if that's the worry, buy with confidence.

Even with DTS on the R1 immortal edition, I found the sound was thin and lifeless, and a quick comparison with the supplied CD shows how much better the songs can sound.

I hope the BD rectifies this.

With the BD version does this mean the wires will be even more obvious ?
