Roles that Actors & Actresses have turned down...
Some films that could have turned out very different had these actors not turned them down, dont look back in anger as the saying goes!

Michelle Pfeiffer and Jodie Foster as Thelma and Louise

Denzel Washington as lead in I Robot

Will Smith in lead role of The Matrix

Sylvester Stallone as lead in Die Hard

John Travolta as Forrest Gump!

Can you guys think of any others?

Selleck didn't turn down Indy. He wasn't allowed to be released for the part because he just been signed up to do Magnum.

Christopher Walken apparently read for Han Solo. I think he would have done a fine job. In fact, there's footage somewhere of a Saturday Night Live skit where someone pretends to be Walken doing Solo in A New Hope.
