I'd like to see Spidey take on Mary Poppins. I'd pay to see him punch her lights out.

Regards

Mark

It should be The Lizard, with J.Jonah Jamesson in his body armour suit joining in.

I didn't think that any of them were based on particular comics.

There is rumblings, that the villain Morbius, a scientist who transforms himself into a vampire could be up next for Raimi in Spiderman 4.

There is a story in a comic about spiderman fighting off a evil twin spider man that is trying to make his life hard and spiderman is always fighting to get this guy out of his way and thigs, but int he end you find out that the story is beign told from the evil twins perspective and that it is actually the good spiderman that is always fighting with him to keep him out of his life.

So the story was meant to be told from the bad spidermans side and how he was making out that the good spiderman was the bad one by always fighting the bad one to keep the bad one at bay.

re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I loved the first two films, kept me entertained even though I am not that much of a comic book fan. I must say I was disapointed with 3 though, it just bored me. It felt over long and there was to much going on.

I hope they simplify the story more for 4 get back to the ethos of 1 and 2, although I suppose the question must be asked, should there be a fourth?

Acclaimed writer-director Gary Ross has been brought on board to rewrite Spider-Man 4 script. Ross, who directed Maguire in both Pleasantville and Seabiscuit, has been hired to overhaul the current script, which has been worked on by Jamie Vanderbilt and David Lindsay-Abaire. Ross is also currently writing a Lance Armstrong biopic.

Maybe they are going for a cooler Spiderman at last. Somebody who can get Maguire to act is the person to change his personality in this one.

No he always starts off as a geek, and gets cool later as Spiderman, you might be getting confused with Superman.

Cool re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Spider-man nor more geek than say iron man who obsessed with electronics. He’s one of the most flippant characters in the comic kingdom when in costume.

Spiderman 4 release date is May 5, 2011.

IMAX Corporation and Columbia Pictures today announced that Spider-Man 4, will be released to IMAX theatres simultaneously with the film's worldwide release on May 5, 2011.

Bruce Campbell has been promised a bigger role in the 4th movie. Maybe a baddie, some fans have speculated that Bruce could take on the role of Mysterio - the master of illusion.

re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Loved the 1 & 2 and enjoyed the sandman scenes in 3 but they totally ruined Venom and hes always been my favourite spidey villain as a kid so i cant forgive Raimi for that

Ill still obviously see 4 but 3 was a huge letdown!
