New Dirty Harry Movie??
Quote:
Is Dirty Harry gonna make your day again
Thu 20 Mar 12:20 PM
We have had Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis resurrect their screen heroes of yesteryear - now it looks likes Clint Eastwood is in on the act by bringing back Dirty Harry to our screens.
It was recently announced that the Oscar winning actor, 77, was to direct and star in Gran Torino - his first film in front of the screen since 2004's Million Dollar Baby. However, details about the film were mysteriously kept under wraps.
And now movie site ainitcool.com are claiming they know the reason why. An insider told the site, "Nobody seems to know - not even the trades - what Clint Eastwood's new movie, Gran Torino, is. So I'll tell you.
"I recently advertised my 1974 ford Gran Torino classic original for sale in the local here, and within 24 hours had someone from Village Roadshow Pictures interested in having a look at it. He came. He wasn't interested for numerous reasons (probably the modifications). He told me they were looking for the right car for a new Clint Eastwood movie.
"He said it was a thriller about a killer that drives a certain Torino. His 1972 Ford Gran Torino is the only thing the police have on him. A retired police lieutenant, one Harry Callahan, makes it his mission to track down the culprit when two young police officers, one Callahan's grandson, are shot and killed by the guy."
If true it would be the sixth instalment of the tough guy detective - and the first since the much maligned 1988 film Dead Pool.

Dont know if this would be a good thing or not. From yahoo news.

I could win the lottery
The last one was awful (the one before wasn't great) and that was twenty years ago and Clint was too old to be playing that character then.
Lets really hope this is not true.

I don't believe the report anyway. This car buyer surely never stood there for such a long time explaining the plot of the movie after seeing that the car was modified.

The seating distance thing is quite annoying. Yeah it looks great from 20ft away.. so does my ex!!!. Grain is the best way to see that you are getting a good HD image. Use it to callibrate your equipment...

It's exactly what would happen in a film. Tell everything to gloat.
Seems ok to me.

Well you have to sign a none disclosure agreement. I've signed one in the past, and I didn't find it all that difficult to keep quiet about my work.

In a film the villain always coughs up as does anyone with the necessary info required. I wasn't talking real life.
Cheers
