I recieved my LOTR special edition this morning and I just wanted to say that I am a little dissapointed that the movie is over to disks. Oh well

No Geezer I had no idea. I already have the 2 disk version but I wanted the additional footage

Some things I do not know, and this was one of the many:

Is it only the simple 2 disc version that has the complete film on one disc? I was about to go buy the Collectors Edition.

No big deal for me.
Sounds like the filmscore was written especially for it anyway.......

It's cos I was sat comfy and had to get my fat @rse out of the chair to change the disk

Wasnt being sarcastic or anything, i just thought it was common knowledge. Im not thrilled about having to change disc either but apparantly its worth it. I shall see when i get my copy.
