Hi All,
Just to let you know DVD's LIMITED (aka: LVS) are now shipping the 5 disc Gift Set Edition of "Fellowship of the Ring".
I can guarantee that this information is correct!......I have it sitting on the table in front of me right now!
( ps: They haven't started shipping the 4 disc edition yet! )
Best Regards,
KBDVD.

This has been discussed many times - try doing a search. The Region One version of the Collector's Edition has an extra fifth disc.

alpha10,
I am sorry if you took offense at my tone, its just that this question gets asked about twenty times a week, even though there is already plenty of information about this on these boards. I get sick of having to repeat myself over and over again because people do not use the 'search' facility - it is clearly written in the forum rules: If you have a question you wish to ask in the forums, please first check whether your question has already been answered. You can use the Search facility to do this.

Actually Mate, if you try doing a search on Lord of the Rings, guess how many answers you get, and flogging through those takes a very long time, so I thought it would be far easier to ask a simple question! NOW if you don't wish to answer then don't, NOBODY is making you, I'm sure someone who isn't so up themselves could have answered instead of you, politely in a couple of seconds.
So I think the moral is if you have nothing pleasant to say, don't say anything at all, especially as a moderator, you are supposed to set an example.......
Cheers

Got a lot of answers from people, not so up themselves though didn't you. Could have always used your loaf and looked up what the five disk set is one of the R1 Supliers.

I'm not up myself so I'll tell you what it is. It's got one more disk than the 4 disk set.

Kevb, I don't see the point in a forum if you have to go somewhere else to find out info, is that not what the AV Forums is for????
I find it amazing that such an innocent little question, that nobody 'had' to answer if they didn't feel like could cause such offence.
My point was more that I don't like people being rude for no reason, especially a moderator, I myself am a moderator on another forum (on a different subject..) and would never behave in this way.
I have been visiting this forum for some time now, AV/hifi is a hobby as it probably is for a lot of people and as such is supposed to be an escape from cr@p, and this sort of thread does nothing to encourage new people to the forum as they may well be intimidated or just put off by the atitude of other members, what a shame.
All my love and carry on the GOOD work.

alpha10,
IMHO you are completely over-reacting, I think if you look at my original answer objectively you will understand that it is not meant to be rude - I was trying to help! I was just about to log off the forum when I saw your question, I didn't have time to give it an indepth response so I was trying to point you to the search utility!!!! How is that rude?!
If you have been visiting this forum "for some time" you will know that we are not purposely rude to anyone, such behaviour is discouraged. I really think your sulky sarcastic attitude is completely unwarranted!
Regards,

If you wish to remain a member of this forum I would suggest that you don't use this type of language again. It may be acceptable on forums that you moderate, but it isn't on this one.
Any repetition and I will request that the Administration ban you permanently.
