Superbit DVD's - do they make a difference

As the title really, they say they have options of 5.1, which doesnt bother me as I dont have a set-up, but also higher bit-rate and visual quality.

Can anyone vouch for them?

Jeez, there.s been a few threads on this, here's an example.

To summerise my opinion, I'll not buy a DVD bcos it's superbit, but if one I wanted happened to be superbit, then I'll get it.
