I would like to see Stephen King's "IT" remade from that awful TV movie.

I would love to see the Lord of the Rings book made into a movie, although, it probably would be very difficult to fit the whole thing into one movie.

In light of my earlier post, I would also like to see 'Salems Lot' remade.

I'd love to see the Assasin Trilogy by Robin Hobb & also the "A Song of Ice & Fire" series by George R.R. Martin.

What, again. I take it you didn't like the tv miniseries remake of the original movie then?

No problem but it would be 10 hours, 54 mins long without intermissions (remember them).

I remember enjoying the Elric novels from The Chronicles of the Black Sword series by Michael Moorcock - "Stormbringer" in particular is a cracking finale to the series. With CGI technology onboard it could probably be done justice by now also.

edit
Also I'd like to see "Temple" by Matthew Reilly done big budget stylee - but on a 15 certificate at least, none of this PG rubbish!

Yes, there's something familiar about that

I'd like to see the 2 suffering games made into films If done well i think they could be very, very good.
Also a decent nightmare on elm street sequal, none of that cheesy comedy crap they put in all the other sequals they did

'The Game' by Neil Strauss That book has got film version written all over it

If you've not read it its a true story about geeks who are hopeless with women and have never had a girlfriend in their life, who then transform themselves to become master 'pick-up artists', able to pull any women they want.

One guy manages to get Paris Hilton's phone number, Strauss himself scores a number off a playmate of the year and Britney Spears

No I didn't.

This could be one hell of a good film, given the right budget, cast, director, etc... Just one word of advice to potential studios, please keep in the scene where the young boy sees and hears his dead brother scratching his nails on the bedroom window and asking to be let in - this was truly truly creepy.

On the Stephen King note, I would also like to see a remake of "The Running Man" and also a film adaptation of "The Long Walk".

Also, you would think that someone would make a decent adaptation of "Rita Heyworth and the Shawshank Redemption"
